Giveaway No. 10: Scrapper's Delight

(This Giveaway is now CLOSED. Congratulations to iamthemandy!)

It's giveaway time!! And this is a special edition, too: Scrapper's Delight is especially for crafters!

I hope to do a series of these kinds of giveaways...

I am calling this one . . .

{sweetly feminine
fabrics, laces, and buttons.
shades of pink, peach,
beige, grey, & brown}

  • An assortment of buttons (mostly vintage, some new)
  • 6 pieces of lace, from 18" to 30" long, in widths of 0.5" to 3.5"
  • 6 pieces of fabric, measuring approximately 5.5" x 9", up to 8" x 14"

These are some of my favorite materials to work with. They would be great for small projects, or for embellishing larger sewing projects. Also wonderful for sweet rag dolls and could even be used for scrapbooking!

  1. well, of course i'd make a Victorian recycled cuff with button closure. or, i might switch it up and make a rad throw pillow...

  2. Oh yeah I want it! I love LOVE love FOLK!

  3. ooooh, what a sweet giveaway!~! I love the colors and the name Victorian Blush is lovely. I've been making art dolls lately and I would totally use these supplies to make a pretty little victorian art doll. Crossin' my fingers!~!

  4. I have my grandmothers button jar that I received 45years ago when she passed away. I would love to arrange all the beautiful fabric, trim and buttons inside it to treasure as much as I do her. I would display them on the mantle in my 110 year old home. I also love anything Victorian, maybe because my name is Victoria.

  5. what a great gift! I could definitely use all of these to make Angels!
Thanks and Good Luck..to all of us!!

  8. What a fabulous giveaway! I've been following you for a while and love your blog. I would use these to make a series of sweet little journals, covered in the fabric, embellished with lace, and using the buttons as closures.

  9. I tweeted your giveaway also, so put me down twice please. It would be so nice to win a giveaway... :)

  10. Fabulous! I am a follower and <3 your blog. What would I do with these little treats....I would embellish a little onesie for my new NIECE who comes in just a few weeks...so excited! Good luck on your giveaway!

  12. Ooh, more stash goodies! But I promise, if I won, that I wouldn't let these slip into the stash abyss. I think I would make myself a detachable collar, like this one on www.pinklizzysews.blogspot.com (sorry I couldn't post the direct link for some reason)

  13. I'm now a follower! And what would I do with these lovely treasures? Hmmm... the possibilities are endless but I'm thinking they would look great to embellish a book cover... or two or three?!
